Our Position
Statement of Faith
Every resource in the Kingdom Scribes library is written from the following doctrinal position. Ministers who license our content agree to preserve these foundational truths in their distribution.
The Word of God
We believe the King James Bible is our standard of authority for faith and practice. All scripture references in our content are drawn exclusively from the KJV. We hold that the Word of God is infallible, unchanging, and sufficient for all matters of doctrine and Christian living.
2 Timothy 3:16–17 — II Peter 1:21
The Godhead
We believe in one God — not a trinity of three separate persons, but one God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily. His name is the name above all names.
Deuteronomy 6:4 — Colossians 2:9 — Acts 2:38
Repentance
We believe that genuine repentance — turning from sin with godly sorrow — is a necessary first step in the plan of salvation. Repentance is not a feeling alone but a turning: away from sin and toward God.
Acts 2:38 — Luke 13:3 — II Corinthians 7:10
Baptism in Jesus' Name
We believe that water baptism must be administered in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, as commanded in Acts 2:38 and practiced throughout the book of Acts. This is not a denominational preference — it is the pattern of the New Testament church.
Acts 2:38 — Acts 8:16 — Acts 10:48 — Acts 19:5
The Holy Ghost
We believe that every believer must receive the gift of the Holy Ghost, with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance. This is the new birth of the Spirit as taught by Jesus in John 3:5.
John 3:5 — Acts 2:4 — Acts 10:44–46 — Acts 19:6
Holy Living
We believe that those who have received the Holy Ghost are called to live separated, consecrated lives that reflect the holiness of God. The grace of God that saves us is the same grace that teaches us to deny ungodliness.
Titus 2:11–12 — I Peter 1:15–16 — Romans 12:1–2
